HYPERION has employed a prudent and logical approach to attaining its MISSION STATEMENT. We have developed a sound business plan and market strategy and have secured sufficient funds at each stage of the company's growth in order to maintain a leadership role within the marketplace.
We have come a long way since March 2004. Some of our more noteworthy accomplishments include:
- The successful asset purchase of two aerospace companies - each with over 10 years experience in the industry.
- The successful set up of a full-service technical support center that is continuously being updated - based on market / client needs - with leading edge technologies.
- A comprehensive and innovative business approach - focused on client priority needs and clear cost-benefits.
- Close and effective relationships with global leaders and innovators with respect to protective coating technologies.
- The purchase and successful operation - since July 2005 - of a state-of-the-art robotic and computer controlled, closed-loop Thermal Spray (HVOF & Plasma) Coating System.
- The purchase of additional automated machining centres, component vapour degreasing, automated cleaning, materials test laboratory and inspection systems to further streamline our processes and enhance our full-service capabilities and work throughput.
- The purchase and successful operation of electroplating services.
- Numerous Key Strategic Alliances and Partnerships are in negotiation with Industry Leaders in the Oil & Gas, Aerospace and other market segments.
- Implementation of our Quality Assurance (AS9100B and ISO 9001:2000) and a fully integrated Management Information Systems (MIS).

We are now adding the following equipment & capabilities:
- June 2006 - A revolutionary, patented Internal Surface Coating Technology - known as Hollow Cathode Plasma Ion Immersion Processing (HCPIIP).
- May 2006 - Add additional specialty equipment such as Diamond Surface & Centreless Grinders and Super-Finishing machines, for both Cylindrical & Flat components thereby assuring that HYPERION continues to be a global technology leader in the Protective Coating and Surface Engineering Field.
- May 2006 - Add Machining and Manufacturing capability and capacity through the addition of new large bore CNC Lathe and specialty Metalworking equipment.
