This superior protective coating uses oxygen and fuel gases such as natural gas, propane, propylene or hydrogen in order to spray powder coatings at supersonic velocities onto a substrate material.

This ensures superior adhesion to the material as well as maximum protection in terms of:

  • Improved Wear Resistance
  • Enhanced Corrosion Resistance
  • Reduced Porosity/Permeability
  • Enhanced Thermal Barrier Protection

High Velocity Oxy Fuel
Our 6-axis, closed loop, state-of-the-art robotic Thermal Spray Coating System ensures that critical components are coated with great precision and consistency under climate-controlled conditions. HVOF is also the selected replacement for Hard Chrome in all line of sight applications. It is much faster to apply, environmentally superior, highly abrasion, corrosion and slurry resistant, 4X to 15X operating life, and has been proven to be very effective in H2S/CO2 environments.

HVOF has been successfully used for: bottom-hole pump plungers and rotors; valve gates and seats; mud motor flow collars; drive shafts; pump jacks; hydraulic components; down-hole tools and many other applications.
